We pray for those who are struggling with this day... we pray for peace, comfort and strength...in Jesus’ name! ❤️
I wrote this 3 years ago and today I am gladly reposting. Thank you Lord 😘❤️ I really don't like getting too personal on social media but I feel it in my heart that I needed to write this in hopes that it touches someone and helps someone who has been in a similar situation. Today was a very huge milestone for me. I turned 30! ☺ Yes I am very proud to say that I am 30 years young today. Growing up birthdays were always a very sad day for me. I had an absent "father" for most of my life and every year on my birthday I would always think of my "father". I always wondered if he remembered that today was the day I was born. No matter who was around and no matter how I celebrated...I always thought about my "father" wondering if he thought about me. Today was different. I wasn't sad at all. I finally can say that my real Father knew I was born today. He celebrated my life with me today. There was a party in Heaven for me today. Although my physical father was never here for me my Spiritual Father has always been. In fact, I was never a fatherless daughter. I just never realized who my real Father was until he opened my heart and helped me realized I was his daughter. It took me a while to forgive my "father" for abandoning me and my siblings but the Lord has helped me to understand that this is how things had to be in order for me to give this testimony. In order for him to mold me into the woman I am today! I give thanks to the Lord because he has made me a daughter of a mighty King! Today I finally celebrated my life as my Father always wanted me to, giving him thanks for creating me! Happy Birthday to me! Thank you all for being part of my life and who have celebrated my life with me! May God continue to bless you! Your sister, Dali ❤😘❤

If you don’t have the strength, you’ll have to learn to rely on Christ’s strength, which is always enough. And even if you’re in a place where you feel like you’re all out of love — you can rely on His love that never runs out. ❤️ Lord, thank You that each day we have from You is a gift, another chance for a fresh start. Help us to forgive, and to let go of the past. Please help us to see Your strength in our weaknesses today, and then again tomorrow, and every day after. In Jesus’ Name, amen. 🙌🏻 #grace #strength #love #jesus #praise #worship #amen #wednesdaywisdom #goodmorning #beautifulpsalms
Everyone longs to feel significant and special. The longing to be chosen, to feel significant, is profoundly primal. Yet even though God’s Word is filled with more than 3,000 promises that we are loved and chosen, when we walk through a hard season, we still want tangible signs that God is going to come through for us. The problem is that while we know that God loves us, we can’t see him with our eyes or feel His arms around us or hear His audible voice telling us that we are loved. So what do we do? We look for that kind of love and acceptance in someone else. In the Bible, we find the Israelites did just this when they demanded the prophet Samuel give them a king. They were looking for a person to protect them rather than God. When they saw Saul, he seemed to be the kind of man they wanted. But God had other plans—a different choice. He chose David, a seemingly insignificant person. Yet God saw his heart. God had heard the psalms that David sang. He had seen his courage as he risked his life to snatch a lamb from a bear and a goat from a lion. He discerned David’s heart and knew that this boy who sang in the darkness and fought in the light would be the one He would anoint as king of Israel. I know personally what it is like to look to others to fill a deep need for belonging. That unmet need in my childhood to be chosen became a driving force in my life. It was the perfect prelude to desperate choices I would later make in life. If I could step back in time and talk to myself, I would say, “You are chosen. You’re chosen by the One who will never unchoose you. Today, I know that it just takes time and some commitment to build understanding and begin thinking a new way. As a daughter of the Most High God, everything can change! God has already chosen me—and you—and he says, “You are mine!” Change means reminding yourself daily that you belong to God, and that he loves you, and that He chose you to be His daughter. As you grow in your

When you feel broken ... “Recently, when visiting my nieces in Florida, I got down on the floor to color with them. They love the Disney princesses, and so we were coloring a picture of Cinderella. When we opened their container of crayons, a burst of colors greeted us. These were well-worn crayons that had been used to color dozens of pictures. I chose a broken and worn-out green crayon. In our throwaway society, it would be easy to think that the work of this crayon was done. That it needed to be replaced with a brand-new crayon instead. However, as I began to color with this broken worn-out crayon, my nieces looked at me and told me my coloring page was beautiful. Because, you see, broken crayons still color. Just like that broken worn-out crayon, we can also feel useless to God because of the mistakes we have made or the things that have been done to us. We feel broken and ugly and useless. We think God would rather have someone else do His work. Someone with less brokenness and baggage. Someone who has it all together. The truth is, we all have brokenness in our lives. Many times we compare our blooper reel to someone else's highlight reel. The truth is no one has a perfect life. And just like that broken crayon, God is always able to use our brokenness to create something beautiful. A masterpiece. Many times what we see as our biggest mistakes and failures can become what God uses the most. However, the enemy in our minds often tells us we are worthless and no longer useful for God's kingdom. Little do we know that God is using our brokenness to create something more beautiful than we could ever imagine”. Prayer: Lord, thank you that you never waste anything that has happened in our lives. I thank you that you can turn my brokenness into something beautiful even when I cannot see it. Help me to open my heart to you and allow you to bring healing and freedom. I love you. In Jesus’ name I pray, amen. #restored #redeemed #saved #loved
“Because she loves me,” says the Lord, I will rescue her, I will protect her, for she acknowledges my name. She will call on me, and I will answer her. I will be with her in trouble, I will deliver her and honor her. With long life I will satisfy her and show her my salvation. – Psalm 91:14-16 #helovesyou #trustingod #keeppraying #hewilldeliveryou #trustintheprocess #pray #trust #havefaith #goodmorning #mondaymotivation #beautifulpsalms
