Does your business have character? Without character, what is your brand?
Loyalty is one of the key pillars to success.  When you buid loyalty, you build your brand.  Howard Schultz said that mass advertising can help build brands, but authenticity is what makes them last. If people believe they share values with a company, they will stay loyal to the brand.
You have to be able to focus on what is most important in yoru domain and push everything else away.  No matter what role you play in your company, this is the level of awareness you must maintain in order to move your business forward.
