It seems like new MLS franchise LA Football Club has a new adquisition to their team. According to multiple sources, including sport reporters Kristian Dyer and Jeff Carlisle among others, they all have indicated that a deal has been completed for Los Angeles Football Club to sign Benfica's young midfielder Andre Horta. The Portuguese midfielder was signed on a $7 million transfer fee from Benfica and will earn about $1 million per year, according to Carlisle (ESPN) on Saturday, making him a Designated Player (Basically, players coming from the international market, like Zlatan at LA Galaxy or Villa at NY City). While the deal is done and may be announced in a couple of days, the Portuguese youngster will likely not be able to join LAFC in the primary transfer window, as his current team, Braga, have persistently refused to cancel the loan deal with Horta for the season, which runs through May and beyond the MLS primary window. This would mean that he wouldn't be allowed to join until the secondary window opens in July. Braga could change their mind, but with the primary window closing on May 1 and the Liga NOS season running through May 13, it seems unlikely Braga will cut him loose early. If his paperwork is wrapped up in time and the player is healthy, if he arrives in July the first game he would be ready to play would be at home against the Portland Timbers on July 15. So it seems the deal is wrapped up. While LA Football Club has not officially confirmed it, many sources confirms the Portuguese move to MLS. And now? Will the Portuguese Horta fit into the American competition? What do you think about this? According to ESPN and Telefoot, Paris Saint-Germain are preparing a big-money move for David De Gea as they search for a new goalkeeper. Although current PSG's Number 1 goalkeeper Alphonse Areola has kept 15 clean sheets in 27 appearances (more than any other keeper in Ligue 1), PSG are aiming to have a Galactico between the sticks next season. De Gea is joined by Thibaut Courtois and Gianluigi Donnarumma on the club's wanted list, with the two Premier League keepers both out of contract in 2019. That could hinder United and Chelsea's negotiating power if PSG follow up their interest in the summer. What do you think about this possible move? If the move happens, it’s sure Atletico Madrid are not going to give the Frenchman so easily. That’s why the Spanish club could be looking to get a player in exchange in the deal. And that man is none other than the second most expensive transfer in FC Barcelona history, Ousmane Dembele. The French winger has endured an injury-plagued debut season at the Camp Nou and a loan deal to Atletico could help him get regular football once more. Yesterday, Antonio Conte returned to regain a new setback with Chelsea this season , this time with a resounding defeat to Watford (4-1). He argued in the subsequent press conference that he's not worried that his coaching role at Chelsea is at jeopardy. He blamed the players for the game. "I'm not worried. I'm not worried about my job. I work every day and give 120 percent. If this is enough, fine. Otherwise, the club may take a different decision. But I'm not worried. Tomorrow will be another day. I can be Chelsea's coach or not. what's the problem? My mind is calm. I go to sleep without a problem, maybe I can do this or that. I try to do everything, if it's not good, the club can make a different decision. Life goes on", he said clearly. Then he referred to the players: "To play football at a great club, it means that you have a personality that is easy to play when there is trust. Especially in such moments, you can see who is ready to play for a big club. Playing with personality and also risk something", were his words dedicated to the template, but did not refer to anyone in particular. Conte could have his hours counted on the bench of Chelsea. Some of the options Chelsea have under the table to replace the Italian are the former Barcelona coach Luis Enrique, Juventus's Massimiliano Allegri and Diego Simeone among others. Chelsea have been told to spend £53m to sign Emerson Palmieri and Edin Dzeko from Italian club Roma. Chelsea’s boss Antonio Conte wants to strengthen the left-back and striker positions at Chelsea as his back-up options at the bench are not helping him big time. Meanwhile, the Rome club are said to have contacted the Blues to outline their price. From my perspective, Conte should sign them, rather than trying to sign Andy Carroll from West Ham. Both players are going in top form at their respective club. Also, the price is acceptable, which makes them a better option for the Blues. What do you think about this possibility?
