“Peak performance is more about refocusing than focusing.” 💯 There’s a bad call on the field or you mess up or someone talks smack to you, you gotta REFOCUS. If you don’t then you’ve given your opponent an advantage bc they took you out of the present moment. 🤦🏼‍♀️ So think of the time you spend in meditation as time spent honing this skill of refocusing. Short Version- these 2 things are shitty for your health. Check your products. 👇 Long Version- Isn't is fun to get in the shower and lather up w some super foamy body wash? And shampoo? Oil of Olay body wash was my go to because it got soooo foamy, until someone enlightened me about Sodium Laurel Sulfate (SLS) and Parabens. 🤦🏼‍♀️ SLF is the emulsifier and foaming agent commonly found in soaps, shampoos, etc. and it's TOXIC. Seriously. Parabens are CHEMICALS and are potential endocrine disrupters (mess up the normal function of our hormone system). 🙄 Yet we happily, and perhaps unknowingly, apply these agents to our largest organ, our skin. 🔥 This is impt for everyone but ATHLETES and COACHES- We know it's the little things done over time that add up to big things when it counts. What if making this little change in the products you use could make you feel that much better over the long run? Just something to think abt. ⚡️ I know my body is more sensitive than others and I just FELT better when I switched products. Recovery day should be every day. 🔥 It blows my mind that recovery gets its own day. Does practice or lifting or footwork training get one day a week?
