Hey, if you're feeling triggered by #13reasonswhy season 2, you are not alone! One fan, Twitter user lovesickpalaces, published a guide that lists all the potentially triggering scenes in each episode. If you think you might be triggered by depictions of sexual assault, alcohol/drug abuse, suicide/self-harm, or physical assault, make sure you tap the link in bio to see the list before you watch!☝ As always, if you're feeling anxious or triggered while you watch, take a break, phone a friend, or do something else that makes you happy (I'll be petting my dog for at least an hour after watching that brutal finale)💜 And if you're experiencing suicidal thoughts, connect with a counselor 24/7 at the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline by calling 1-800-273-8255, or by accessing the chat feature on their website.
Today marks the one-year anniversary of the terrorist bombing at an #arianagrande concert in Manchester. The attacked killed 22 people and wounded 59 others. To commemorate the day and honor the victims, Ariana tweeted, "Thinking of you all today and every day. I love you with all of me and am sending you all of the light and warmth I have to offer on this challenging day." Teens on Twitter are using the hashtag #ifidieinaschoolshooting to list all the milestones they would miss if they were killed in a mass shooting, and the tweets are heartbreaking. There have been 22 school shootings so far in 2018. The most recent occurred last Friday, when a student killed 10 people at Santa Fe High School with his father’s gun. Students are using their voices to demand gun control, but so far politicians have failed to listen. It’s time for meaningful gun control in the US.
