In honor of World Refugee Day we are donating 10% of brewed Ethiopia Agaro coffee sales to @ciri.ct and @savethechildren - all week long! Now more than ever we are so proud to support the work these two amazing local organizations do in our community and our world- particularly in serving our refugee and immigrant neighbors.
OK folks, two things! 1) We’re closing a little early at 5:00 today for a professional meetup. 2) DONUTS ARE COMING TOMORROW! We’re so excited to begin offering @dus_donuts! Delicious New England style cake donuts with inventive flavors (Brown Butter Key Lime? Rhubarb Shiso? Oatmeal Chai? Yes, yes and yes.) Available in full size and adorable minis they are the perfect complement to our coffee. Come out this weekend to try them!
We’re really revving up for Source Goes International this Thursday from 7-9pm! We are thrilled to announce two amazing prizes that will be offered via silent auction. First up- @sourcecoffeebus is donating a private event for up to 100 people anywhere in Fairfield County. Whoa. Great for a company outing, church picnic, family reunion, wedding, or just a good ol’ fashioned party. Our second auction item is PERFECT for entrepreneurs (we see you, drinking coffee and hustling day in and day out)- @ideabreed has graciously donated a Brand Identity Package! GAME CHANGER. Spread the word and please come out on Thursday to support a fantastic cause and win some cool stuff ✌🏻
We can do a lot with a little, but we can do even more with your help. Coffee week at the Leadership Institute in Chiquilá often involves getting creative and finding new ways of doing things we take for granted after 12+ years in the coffee industry. Like using pyrex measuring cups for steaming milk because we don’t have pitchers. The truth is, it’s not about the equipment, or the quality of the shelf stable milk we have access to. It’s about watching 16 young adults learn new skills and put them into action in just 5 days. It’s about the immense pride they take in every drink they serve to the tourists passing through on their way to Isla Holbox. It’s about the confidence they gain with the realization that they can pursue their passion and turn it into a career that will provide for their family and transform their community. We are so proud to be a part of this work and we want to invite you to be a part of it with us. We hope you’ll join us NEXT THURSDAY (May 31) from 7-9pm for a very special fundraising event. Your $10 donation at the door will go farther than you can imagine. We’ll have live music, food from @bartacolife, sangria, art exhibits, and an incredible raffle thanks to our generous vendors, community partners, and friends. We hope to see you there! (Keep following our story to see what you could win in the raffle!)
Just two weeks away from our fundraising fiesta Source Goes International! We hope you’ll join us on May 31st from 7-9pm to learn more about the work we’re doing with @handsofferinghope in Chiquilá, Mexico. A $10 minimum donation gets you in the door for an evening of fun with live music, art exhibits, delicious food and drink, and the totally amazing raffle we’ve put together thanks to the generosity of some incredible friends, neighbors, and colleagues. We’ll be highlighting some of the raffle prizes in our Insta story over the next two weeks so stay tuned :)
