FOR ANYONE WHO CARES ABOUT MY FITNESS JOURNEY. OTHERWISE DON'T READ, TOO LONG OF A POST.🙎♀️🤷♀️ Who said woman should not have muscles? If you think having muscles makes you look "bigger", as in "fat", you're wrong. I used to refuse to lift anything heavy, afraid that if I started weight training again, I would look even bigger. The only reason I used to look "big" in the first place was not because of lifting weights, it was because of all the excess fat. Weight training/building muscle, will help you burn fat! Do not be afraid to lift, cardio can only do so much for you. I've noticed my arms getting more toned and leaning out when I started incorporating weights/cardio vs. just cardio. I am happy with the progress I have made over the last couple of months, I have managed to lose a total of 26 lbs in 4 months. Not only that but I have gained strength. I am not where I want to be, I still need to lean out way more but I can see my body getting toned and I am loving the results. And don't worry guys, I only look manly when I flex.😅 I threw in a random low quality picture where you can see my arm, just as reference on how it actually looks. I don't normally look that muscular, I mean I wish but I have to lean out more for my muscles to start being noticeable. Anyway this was just a little update since I haven't posted a progress pic in a while. I'm still working on myself, time is key, don't give up. Stay tuned to watch my pull-ups vid. Ps. Pictures are kinda out of order. Pic #12 - current Pic #3 - earlier this year Pic #4 - End of 2017 Pic #5 - earlier this year (you can tell I leaned out some) Pic #6 - Last month Pic #7 - Before & After (Jan2018-Apr2018) Pic #8 - Reference of how my arms look, not flexing. Pic #910 - earlier this year Oh and my before and after pic is a bit embarrassing but whateva, I've made damn good progress, not to show off. Plus I am embracing my flaws and learning to be confident and love myself. #loveyourself

Book #6—borne, by Jeff Vandermeer // THIS WAS SO FUCKING GOOD I CAN’T EVEN BE ELOQUENT ABOUT IT. The wildest weirdest bio-sci-fi-dystopian novel I’ve ever encountered. Granted, that’s a small subsubgenre but still. Holy shit. I read this in one sitting on a plane.
