Ruby-throated Hummingbird, 7.28.18 . . . One of the things I’m most thankful for when it comes to wildlife photography is just how much more aware of my surroundings it’s driven me to become. Case in point: watching hummingbirds. For most of my life, I only ever noticed hummingbirds at feeders or in gardens; now though, I seem to see them EVERYWHERE! And I have to admit - as cool as it is to see them flitting about, there’s something really special about seeing one of these workhorses actually stop and rest for a minute.
Life just looks better in black and white. These images are no exception. It’s to easy to over think, over complicate and under appreciate the blessings and under appreciate the blessings and valve things have. Less is more. Simple is better. Always a pleasure getting to work with such talented people.
