4 Corner Closed Quarter Drill. Movement, Quickness and Reaction. I’ve been doing this drill since I was a child defensive player up to the semi pro level in basketball. Field, Court, and Combat sports require Movement to be quick and reactive do to the uniqueness of those also you work with, or against who’s movements are quick and reactive defensively or from scoring in these situations offensively. This is also a great general drill if you do not play any sports and just train to improve your body’s proprioceptive ability to adapt in closed space which contrasting with weight training, which will improve your overall training tremendously. Learn to move with your body in every angle even if your rhythm and timing are terrible, because like I said in my last post, Pliability within training, is the continued development of Training’s ALIVENESS led to PROGRESSIVENESS. And if your rhythm and timing are SOUND with movement, the same sense applies for such a smaller window to execute PROGRESSIVENESS. DeMel Tarver
