Day 20: No matter what I’m up to during the day, cooking at the end of the day relaxes me and it gives me joy cooking for my loved ones. So here is tonight’s menu for everyone in the family: . 1) Panfried salmon with a dash of honey - crispy skin and flaky, moist centre - because Mama loves fish and doesn’t eat beef. . 2) Juicy steak because the fussy half of the family i.e. Papa and sis @elladora don’t eat salmon (Dad’s selective reasoning: I’m too old to try new things). . 3) Powell potatoes that have yet been mastered hence they are too charred but thankfully fluffy on the inside, which were duly inhaled. . 4) Al dente green beans tossed with the garlic infused oil from roasting the potatoes and crushed pistachios because Mama loves greens and Papa needs to be enthused with nuts, one of his favourites, to consume greens. . In all these we are not forgetting @pasikac, the adopted sibling who shares my foodie genes, who offered the obvious solution to ‘why choose’ and opted for the surf and turf option. 😉 . #eesdiary100days#she100days#surfandturf#dindin
