A few years ago, I was in turkey and stumbled across this beauty! Had to take a few home with me, hence the unusual fireplace in the background 😜 Will get back into a schedule of more regular uploads with all kinds of beer once home. In the mean time, #haveabeeronme🍻
Sometimes being local to Bristol has its advantages, being so close to one of my favourite breweries is one of them! @lostandgroundedbrewers have been producing amazing beers for two years now and this collab with @lervigbeer is no exception. Atlas won't put me down is a double IPA brewed with Citra, Ekuanot and Enigma and comes in at a tasty 8%! Out of the bottle you know it's gonna be good, it pours a lovely golden orange colour with just a small, fluffy head and the smell of citrus and pine resin fills the air nicely. First taste is like a smack in the mouth, loads of citrus and pine, a touch of tropical fruit too thrown in. There's a good dose of bitterness that fits this so well. The ending is fairly dry and with a touch more bitter orange for good measure. Very, very tasty brew, well worth looking for and a shout out to @nanna.guldbaek for the awesome artwork. #repost @mccoppinsfitzroy • • • Time to break out the good crystal. @edgebrewingproject Champayne Brut Lager is a take on the Brut IPA craze where enzymes are used to reduce residual sugar levels akin to those of Champagne. The process has been used here to brew a strong lager with the addition of white wine grapes allowing the fruity hop mix to sparkle.
