Guys if you don’t have hobbies, or activity’s you like to do outside of “work” then you should try frisbee golfing! To be in nature, to be with good friends, and to be at ease is very satisfying. Nonetheless, if you don’t have a outside hobby, get one!
This! Summer don’t leave me yet. I’m late to the party, and have been intrigued with these for a few years now. I’d like to get one more Norfork lake weekend in and give these boards a go! #paddleboarding#summer#needmoretime#beoutside#keepmoving#justdoit#explore#nature#breathe#praynplay#newventures#arkansaslife☀️🏕
“Water is the softest thing, yet it can penetrate mountains and earth. This shows clearly the principle of softness overcoming hardness.” Lao Tzu Once these wondrous rock formations were solid rock. But together time and water (and other science-y stuff) created such beauty. This is a good lesson for travelers and teachers: patience and a gentle approach can create unimaginable results. I am not naturally gentle like water. I am not a tiny human. In fact my my-not-tiny body comes with a booming which often brims with frenetic energy. Soft spoken usually does not come to mind when others describe me. The thousand squirrels raving in the disco that is my brain (ADHD) fuel that frenetic energy that eminates from within. It collided into those in close proximity. Age and experience have gifted me the power of the softness. I can control the squirrels and the booming voice (sometimes). There are times during travel and teaching that the softer approach is better. It is better to be silent stilled, and observant in new places. It demonstrates respect to those who live and work in that destination. Often times silent observation brings new discoveries. Today as I finish the school week, I might bring a little water softness to my students. It is Friday and those babies are probably wore out! 😉 #dailytravelzen#traveltexas @traveltex @texas_hillcountry @texashighways #texas#statepark#pedernalesfalls#waterfalls#caves#watererosion#water#erosion#laotzu#thesoftapproach#exploremore#nature#naturephotography#bluesky#beoutside#hiking#outdooradventures
