Working on strength means we should lift heavy with a low rep range. We personaly prefer a lift or movement that is complex and where you can only do 1 to 3 reps. Also every rap you do, you should try to do it slowly and with control. That way you constanty work on the weak parts of the movement chain as well. Ponavadi pa si pri trenigu moči izberem kompleksen dvig, katerega izvajam počasi in z kontrolo. Hi Familia! Not gonna lie I’ve not been feeling motivated in the past few days. I’ve been in this bubble 😭 I guess we all go through it sometimes. It just sucks because I have so many ideas for videos & I haven’t been working out 😥 It’s beyond frustrating but I found this old pic of me on the left from 2 years ago & compared it to the right pic I took about 3 months ago. Pretty amazing what hard work can do! So I’ve decided that I need to work on my weaknesses lately rather than my strengths. . . The floor HSPU has always been a source of frustration for me as I often lose my line & balance when pushing back out of the bottom. . . In the past I’ve tended to focus on the moves that certainly look more impressive such as the full range HSPU & the 90 degree HSPU. Great for the ego but not I would suggest as good for building solid foundations. . . So I’ll be spending a lot more time on my palms for a while, building endurance in the Handstand, improving the press, working on compression &mobility, building towards the Stalder Press & getting 5 x 5 of these damn frustrating floor HSPUs for working sets (without needing a target) I’m also looking to get my splits. All long term projects which will be filled with much frustration, tantrums, hopefully kicking a few goals along the way.
