There's more to this subtle G.O.T. comment (side note, I don't watch G.O.T., but this phrase is so catchy, right?!). Anywho... It's getting nippy, and old outdoors+warm dry indoors = weakened, dry hair follicles...perfect ingredients for breakage & split ends. Winter is harsh on hair, so I'd definitely recommend a switch-up in your hair care routine. Here are some tips on winter hair care that I personally recommend for both men & women: ❄ Shampoo less, condition more (or co-wash where possible) ❄ Deep condition weekly to hydrate & nourish your hair ❄ Use honey treatment (see previous posts) and/or a good leave in conditioner to combat frizz ❄ Use less heat when styling your hair ❄ Don't go out with damp hair to avoid breakage ❄ Use an oil-based moisturizer to lock moisture in ❄ Use a serum at night for extra TLC ❄ Use a silk/satin head wrap at night. I prefer satin pillowcases 😊 ❄ Line your winter hats with satin to avoid breakage, split ends & static ❄ Don't lighten hair with hair stripping products to avoid drying out/weakening your hair Give it a go... have a great day lovelies 😍.
