Teach Me How Challenge! I saw this on the @bonappetitmag YouTube channel. Basically I instruct my husband to cook something only hearing my instructions. He doesn't cook, has no experience, and gets flustered...what could go wrong? Well not much because we are starting off light. A Chorizo and Monterrey Jack Queso and Chips. Easy enough right? Nope. He's never made a roux, never cooked chorizo, never fried a chip. I found myself yelling out instructions and needing confirmation it was done. The way I would describe food he would misinterpret. An example of this is when he was making the roux. Is the butter bubbling? Yes. Okay add 1 tsp of salt and paprika. Ok. Add 2 tbsp of flour. Ok. Now whisk. It should turn into a wet sand texture right? Yes. Okay, mix the chorizo around and let the flour dry out a bit. Ok. Okay so now start adding milk. Only a few tbsp at a time. This will help you whisk out any lumps. Are you doing it? Yes. Okay so as you do this let me know whenyou get to a mashed potato texture okay? Mmhmm. So...where sre you. Its watery! Wait why? Dif you add too much milk? I dont know. Omg okay do you see chunks of flour. No just milk. Okay raise the heat and keep whisking. Its still watery. Is it bubbling. Yes its thick now. 2 seconds ago it was water. No its mashed potatoes now. JESUD CHRIST. LOL we are just making queso. He added tbsp for everything which is why its orange and the chorizo was barely cooked. Like a few seconds sooner and we would have a problem. I will day this his sauce was smooth and didnt have s grainy texture. What should we make next time? #teachmehow#challenge#chorizo#roux#cheesesauce#queso
I am not against our Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi and in fact I was among the many who wanted him to become the PM. I don't support any party and I appreciate whoever/whatever does good and criticize whoever/whatever is wrong. And the below are few questions that's bothering me which I would like to raise now! Hope I get some answers. Can you, the honourable prime minister of India, provide us the list of black money holders as promised during demonitisation How did you, the honourable prime minister of India, have time to meet with @priyankachopra when you did not have time to meet our farmers? You, the honourable prime minister of India, feel sorry for the American people who died in a shootout and not for your own country people who died in tuticorin (TN) Sterlite protest? You, the honourable prime minister of India, have time for Sridevi's death and not for the people of Tamil Nadu? In our country, we have the farmers who are begging to waive a bit on their loan amount, on one side and people like Vijay Mallya on the other side. How do you, the honourable prime minister of India, view it? Karnataka is not providing Tamil Nadu with cauvery water as ordered by the Supremes court. Isn't it a disrespect to disobey the supreme court's order? Don't you, the honourable prime minister of India, have nothing to say or do about it? You, the honourable prime minister of India, declared that rapists who rape kids below 13 years will face capital punishments for which I respect you. This was considered with a view that no innocent should be killed I assume. But the killings of the innocent in Tuticorin are lawful? You accept @virat.kohli's fitness challenge and reply as a tweet saying you accept his challenge. Can you, as the honourable prime minister of India, accept Tamil Nadu people's #challenge of #tnaskspm and reply to at least one of our questions Mr. @narendramodi? Jai Hind 🙏🇮🇳 In search for answers #tamizh#tamilnadu#speakup#bansterlite
SVADHYAYA - SELF STUDY🤔 This time away has definitely given me a lot to think about and notice about myself. Making me challenge assumptions I had about myself, feel unsure, rediscover strength, challenge my choices. Don’t be afraid of challenge, and being unsure. Reading Eckhart Tolle this trip has helped me to feel that when we are unsure of who we are, that is when we are really being true to ourselves. Who are we anyway? We use what we do, and how we appear to define ourselves but we are so much more. Always leave space for self study, Svadhyaya, and start to learn to be ok with the uncertainty we often find there. As when we don’t define or confine ourselves we can be anything. . . . #patanjali#svadhyaya#selfstudy#uncertainty#explore#challenge#grow#yogateacher#yogalife#alwayspracticing#eckharttolle
I just had the honor of working with Jamie McDonald who is just beginning his journey running across America. Jamie is a World Record Holding Adventureman, Author, Motivational Speaker, co-founder of Superhero Foundation. He is raising money for US children's hospitals along the way. In 2014 he successfully completed running across Canada! .. After the Trigger Point Therapy session he insisted on grabbing lunch, so we sat down for some sushi! I'm still in awe of what a selfless and amazing person he is. I am BEYOND lucky to have met him. To keep up on his journey: @mrjamiemcdonald Read more here: www.jamiemcdonald.org
We had such an incredible time in Payson last weekend and in Cottonwood this week. . We have been in Phoenix for years and haven’t explored either areas yet until now. Both towns had incredible outdoor playgrounds with many hikes, waterfalls and creeks and so much scenery. It was really fun to take our time and just explore. . Where to go next in the Arizona area???
