I’ve been doing a fast since Sunday night, only taking in water and coffee(gotta have that java😉). I’m doing this for many reasons, the foremost being research, physical, mental and spiritual. This is the first time I’ve done an extended fast before, and I thought it was going to be a physical test more than anything, but it turned out to be and incredibly rewarding mental and spiritual journey through which I’ve become more connected with my body and mind. Now this is not something to do often, and I do not condone starving yourself, it was an incredible experience that I plan to do again. Before I end the fast in a couple hours, I decided to head to the sandbar and do a little pranayama and meditation, as well as a little vinyasa flow...stay tuned for the video!😀 #pranayama
“How I go to the woods”: Ordinarily, I go to the woods alone, with not a single friend, for they are all smilers and talkers and therefore unsuitable. I don’t really want to be witnessed talking to the catbirds or hugging the old black oak tree. I have my way of praying, as you no doubt have yours. Besides, when I am alone I can become invisible. I can sit on the top of a dune as motionless as an uprise of weeds, until the foxes run by unconcerned. I can hear the almost unhearable sound of the roses singing. If you have ever gone to the woods with me, I must love you very much. - Mary Oliver
Today's lesson: empty YOUR cup! ☕ Let go of thoughts, relationships, activities that have been holding you down, draining your energy, making you unhappy lately. Once you've created that space, joy, gratitude and serenity can be cultivated in abundance 💕 remember, only if your cup is full of positive goodness can you be a vessel of the same for others 👬👭👫🍒 🌻 thank you @buddhadoodles for the inspo
With the amazing weather we have been having lately, I have been spending so much more time outside... whether going for a walk, eating or working on my deck or playing in the dirt, planting my garden- and I feel so good! The earth is such a powerful healer, and I love connecting more deeply when the weather finally warms after our long, cold winters. 💚

Even when things weren't easy, it has always paid me back. And I think it's because I try to follow my heart when making decisions. Moving to the High Country in Victoria has been a big one but it's already filling my live with beautiful landscapes, people and joy ♡ Just spent a few days co-leading an Outdoor Ed program at the Bogong high plains, looking at the highest mountains in the continent (Mt Bogong and Mt Kosciusko). It remind me to my country as it resembles the highlands with Ichu, bogs and frosty mornings. I'm sharing this as it might inspire someone out there to follow their hearts a little bit more. • • #outdooreducation#bushwalking#bogonghighplains#alpinenationalpark#victorianhighcountry#mountcope#alpinetrail#theoutdooroffice#connecttonature#vitaminenature
