Just spent a weekend at what must be the most beautiful place in Wales. Dunja Roberts teaches spinning and weaving at the All In A Spin studio at Pen Y Caeau farm near Crickhowell. She spins and weaves their rare breeds wool. #repost @allinaspin with @get_repost ・・・ #wales#spinning#crickhowell#weaving#wool
The southern answer to the Carneddau ponies, these lovely beasts can be found all over the range, happy to be side-by-side with the many hillwalkers. The completion of these peaks now leaves only Rhobell Fawr and Rhinog Fawr remaining on the list. I'm yet to properly figure out my next 'challenge' but if I only ever complete this one, I'll be happy.
Chwarel Y Fan, the halfway home. It was here that I took a 20-minute nap, which I think is a first for me on a single hike. The mountains here are so impressive, but in such a different way to those in Snowdonia. The ridges here are not sharp or craggy, but are like immense freightliners, commanding your respect.
