Sometimes the hardest thing to do in a house and make the new match the old. We rehabbed/reworked these stairs during a renovation. They used to only go down to the side. Once the rest of the house was opened up, it only made sense to wrap the steps around. Once they were painted and stained the look really came together 👌
#tbt to this wainscoting we installed. It wrapped through the dining room up the stairs to the hallway. We used a custom profile for the window casing and installed a continuous stool for the bay window. The wainscoting actually made the room feel bigger and made it a focal point, rather than just another room in the house.
Knocked out a few other in this house and figured id post the screened porch we did. There was an existing deck (which the homeowner didn’t want to demo and start fresh). So we made this porch as a self supporting structure, meaning there is no load onto the existing deck or deck structure. It was screened until last year, when the homeowner wanted to put these retractable windows in. They have screens when the panes are stacked at the bottom of each unit.
Fabricated and installed this corian counter top and back splash today. If you swipe, you’ll see we were adding to an existing counter top. We fabricated the new piece, and seamed the two in place. Fun fact on this one... the customer got our number from the local Home Depot. Apparently they sell corian, but wouldn’t patch in to match the existing piece. 🤷♂️ we’ll take it!
