Getting real excited for our new home. My creative juices are flowing and I can’t wait to dig my heels in. Our current home has turned into a bit of a trash heap 🙈 as I’ve been back in school and clinging to the attitude “we are moving soon anyway” ... who here is still interested in my interior design? Following along on our building process? (After all- that’s what this space started as 1.5 years ago!) My husband gently asked me yesterday if I thought posting pictures of our new home was discouraging or deflating for people to see? I hope anyone that follows me knows that being genuine, vulnerable, and making true connections are my main reasons for even being on here. The last thing I would EVER want is to add to the plague of making people feel “less than”... with the world filled with so much pain, unimaginable trials, and far more important realities than building a dream home, it’s hard to know what to share. Feedback greatly appreciated....I’m genuinely curious... 😘 (also- SO MUCH PINK 😂... maybe that’s what happens when you’re a single woman for a year). #haysnewoldhome
Looking for inspiration for our kitchen right now and loving the classic feel of this space (with some modern touches). Light greige cabinetry, wood table, white slipcovered chairs. If only we had beams like these! 📸 by @kellynuttdesign
