5th world champion boxer from Yemen. Although his country is being ravaged by war, he’s very proud of Yemen and continues to fight for what he loves: boxing. Cuba has some of the best trainers in the world so it was in Havana in the old broken down boxing arena that I met him, training for his next match. People from Yemen are very warm and welcoming, and despite the atrocities inflicted upon their people and land, there is much beauty found in their country. I’ve now got a trip planned to visit this young man in the near future.
Georgian people waiting for the bus at the border between Abkhazia. When Georgian-Abkhazian war happened many people became refugee and fled from Abkhazia. Before that, I heard that they were living together happily. Now only a few people who used to live in Gali, Abkhazia could go back to their hometown. But still they need to cross the border to go to Zugdidi to buy daily necessities. I don't say my personal opinion here, but I just wish one day Georgian and Abkhazian could live together happily again. They are both so kind and sweet people. #worldrefugeeday#abkhazia#georgia
