✨Do things for the health of it ✨ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I have struggled with my weight for most of my life. I can remember as far back as fifth grade and being self conscious about the number on the scale. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I was a pretty introverted kid growing up, and wasn't very active. This came in part with being shy but was also due to the lack of confidence I had in myself from being a 'chubby' kid. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Once I was graduated high school, I found Dragon Boating, a sport that I loved. It motived me to become healthier. I began to eat better, work on my cardio and pay more attention to sleep quality to improve my performance. It was the first time in my life that I had lost a significant amount of weight without extreme dieting. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I have since moved on from this water sports to adoring CrossFit, but the foundation is still the same: Passionate, enjoyment, fun, consistency. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Yes, it still takes time, and effort... But I ENJOY the process. That is such a strong lesson that I have learned, and I try my best to pass that lesson on to everyone who comes to me for weight loss. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Do things for the enjoyment of the process, and choose sustainable behaviors that have healthy outcomes.
