Tbt to my Raw Vegan Lasagna ❤️ . . I have made this dish many times with whatever I have on hand. The sheets are usually fresh sliced zucchini or any other squash, sometimes I dehydrated them first. “Meat filling” can be activated walnuts mixed with spices, sprouted grains or legumes also mixed with spices, you can mix it with the ragu sauce. The ragu sauce is always sundried tomatoes with fresh tomatoes , onion and spices, sometimes I like to follow the original recipe adding carrot and celery as well. Pesto filling (usually basil) is a plus but the original doesn’t call for any, but this is where the fun begins. Everything can be personalized. The bechamel I usually make them of creamy blended nuts. I also like to add rawmesan on top (pine nuts mixed with nutritional yeast and other spices). This dish can also be converted into zoodles and dressed with any of the sauces and convert the ragu meat sauce into dehydrated meatballs. Whatever you decide this is an excellent and healthy option to include more raw into your diet. . . The recipe to this specific lasagna was: 🍅🥒🌱Raw Lasagna🌱🥒🍅 . . Raw, nut-free and gluten-free and could be oil free if you omit the olive oil :) Thinly sliced zucchini layers filled with: 🌱green pesto made out of olive oil, basil, parsley, spinach, fresh garlic, bok choy, sea salt and nutritional yeast. 🍅 tomato sauce made out of sun dried tomatoes, fresh cherry tomatoes, olive oil, oregano and garlic powder. 🧀 nut-free vegan ricotta made out of cauliflower, grated coconut, garlic powder, lemon juice, pinch of curry, black salt and nutritional yeast. #govegan#realfood#vegan#eathealthy#veganfoodshare#plantbased#healing#vegano#ecofriendly#rawvegan#healthylifestyle#healthyfood#healthiswealth#rawtill4#fruit#eatrealfood#holistichealth#veganfoodporn#fruitlovers#alkalinediet#healthyliving#veganrecipes#zucchini#detox#glutenfree#rawveganrecipes#nutrition#cleaneating#lasagna
#yesicare "I am a self-proclaimed nature advocate/admirer who finds myself retreating to the wilderness in seek of peace, relaxation, and enjoyment from the rare encounters with wildlife. Nature and animals are my true loves and when I decided that I wanted to do more with both, I joined our local zoo in 2017. After going through a series of training sessions to learn about the damage we are causing to the planet and our wildlife, I decided to set forth on a journey to do my part in cleaning up wooded areas so that our friends in the wild can sleep in their homes filled with objects other than the trash being thrown there! My goal started with picking up trash around nearby neighborhoods, then expanded into traveling to State Parks, which in turn, motivated me to keep moving forward to pick up trash in every State in the United States (9 States down so far this year); at least two bags or more per stop to spread the word to inspire others to be Down With Pollution – Thumbs Up to being part of the Solution! With that goal on target, I now want to take my efforts further by venturing into the repurposing side where I can remove plastic from nature and then place it back into the environment with a new purpose. Another goal of mine is to open a facility that can get our younger generations some hands-on experience to learn about the damage we are causing and how they can do their part to save our precious planet. I am no expert and I will never claim to know everything there is to know about all creatures or living things, but I do have a deep passion to protect our animals and the breathtaking beauties this Earth can portray. One person at a time, One state at a time – we can turn things around and save this beautiful place we all call home!" Lisa Heaton, @keepyourjunk_inthetrunk (East Moline, Illinois) #smarthead
