I love marine life. I think I never talked about it here. I love being in the water, when I was a kid I used to spend hours in the lake becoming all wrinkly, and all the adults were like “you’re gonna grow fins!”. I love snorkeling, I once dived in the Red Sea and I wish I could live in a place with the coral reef so I can enjoy it as much as possible. But I I have to settle for a visit to an aquarium- this one was inside the @calacademy. Seeing all these creatures moving slowly and delicately made me so quiet and relaxed. And these jellyfishes are way better to watch when you’re not in the water with them! Do you like water as much as I do?
No trip to San Francisco is complete without bread and pastries...and of course a stop at famed Tartine Bakery. - San Francisco is famous for its bread, specifically its sourdough because of the natural yeasts and bacteria in the air. It was something gold miners actually discovered in the 1800’s and now as a visitor, it’s essential to dig your teeth into a loaf! - Unfortunately, the famous @tartinebakery who is known for producing some of the best bread not just in the city, but in the country, doesn’t sell its bread until the afternoon. But they also have a selection of divine sweet treats, quiches and sandwiches to enjoy for a quick breakfast or lunch! (So if you’re wondering why there’s no bread in this photo, that’s your answer haha...but we are talking about it nonetheless.) - Tartine opened in 2002 and in 2008, it’s owners won the James Beard Award fro best pastry chefs in America, after two previous nominations. - And where else to find fabulous sourdough bread?! (Or sweet treats) • ACME Bakery at the Ferry Building • Noe Valley Bakery in Noe Valley • Josey Baker Bread in Nopa • Boudin Bakery (multiple locations, oldest running sourdough maker in San Francisco)
