TRANSFORMATION TUESDAY  4 week check in progress pics.  This girl is working dam hard! Y’all I am shrinking away over hereeeee 😱 currently the leanest and lightest I’ve ever been. I’m getting so fucking pumped thinking about stepping on stage next weekend. And I keep telling myself “I can’t be more excited than I am now” and then the next day comes and I get even more giddy 😅 - I’m overall in such a good mood about this prep. I’m usually crawling through at this point, looking at food porn all day, and just barely making it by. I definitely have low days but overall this has been the most bearable prep. Some kinda wizardry @the_pro_ducer is working on ova here. I’m somewhat bittersweet to think about prep being over soon (potentially) but I’m ready for whatever phase comes next. For instance, chicken breasts are extremely lean while chicken thighs are extremely high in fat. _ ❓But thighs are so much tastier❓ - Sure, certain cuts of meat are more “flavorful”, but really all you’re saying is that they are higher in fat.  There are ways to prepare lean cuts of meat that are full of juiciness and flavor!

#transformationtuesday 💜 The whole “accepting your body and loving it” shit is hard. I have no waist anymore, just a bump, back fat spilling out my damn sports bra, and basically zero definition even though I still eat veryyyyy mindfully. 🥗 I wouldn’t say I totally hate my physique, but I definitely hate the performance it is putting out in the gym. I got the green light to still train 2-3 hours a day with the same intensity minus any deadlifts, but when I try my hardest, I’m weak, and the intensity won’t come. . Cuando me pongo a hablar con amigos sobre comida o nutrición, lo hago pensando que todo el mundo maneja perfectamente el concepto de MACRONUTRIENTES y suelen pasar siempre dos cosas: 1. Me detienen para preguntarme ¿que son estos MACROS de los que tanto hablo? 2. Me miran con esa mirada en sus ojos, sólo asintiendo con la cabeza y es cuando me doy cuenta que no están entendiendo una sola palabra de lo que les estoy tratando de decir. Así que si estas por adentrarte en este estilo de vida, aquí te va algo de información que te será de mucha utilidad. - Las calorías están compuestas por "MACROS". -Cuando hablamos sobre MACROS, Nos estamos refiriendo a MACRONUTRIENTES. - Los MACROS son tres: PROTEINAS, CARBOHIDRATOS y LIPIDOS. - Los CARBOHIDRATOS y las PROTEINAS cada una te aporta 4kcal por gramo. Por otra parte los LIPIDOS te aportan 9kcal por gramo. Así que cuando veas el conteo final de calorías de cada alimento, esos números no llegaron ahí magicamente, ahí están los macronutrientes portándote Kcal.
