Grocery shopping can be a real hassle sometimes, but making food at home is the best way to guarantee that you are getting the best ingredients for you and your family. Having said that, know that change doesn’t happen overnight, and that life is gonna get in the way sometimes; but the more you do something, the more habitual it will become and the less effort it will take. These are some tips to get you started: 1. Keep it simple. Your meal plate should include mostly whole foods. Pick your favorite vegetable, pair it with your favorite meat source and add a bit of healthy fats (1/2 and avocado, 1 tsp of olive oil, peanut butter, nuts, etc.) 2. If you’re not used to cooking, start small by picking one new meal to cook a week and make that same meal multiple times so that you can get really good and fast at making that meal.  3. Make sure that you are making foods that you enjoy eating and that are healthy for you. This is very personal and it does takes some exploring of new foods, but you don’t know what you’re missing until you try it 😋! 4. Eat healthy, nutritious foods 80% of the time
