Have to thank @ashsinclair for expanding my knowledge of wine, especially the wonders of incredible red wine! This is a French Wine from the Bourgogne (Burgundy) region. Aged 10-12 months it has around palate with vibrant fruity notes. ▪️▪️▪️ We picked this up last month in Monaco during our trip!
Really nice #biodynamic Côtes de #bordeaux tonight with Chinese Chicken Salad. 50/50 split between #sauvignonblanc and #semillon. Beautiful light-golden color. Aromas of lemon, mandarin oranges, almond. Creamy on the palate (wondering if it underwent some malo?), very even acidity. A bit of lime twist and custard on the finish. Nice patio wine.
[Bandol, Provence, 🇫🇷, Château de Pibarnon] When in South of France, I need to drink Bandol - and soak up all that warmth, sunshine, ripe fruit and deep concentration of jammy goodness. 90% Mourvedre- upon first sip, the layers start to unfold and you begin to get mocha, tobacco and spice. Overall, a beautiful companion to a fusion meal in old town of Cannes. More importantly, it’s over this wine, I’ve gotten to know Alex Hacpille from our Paris office - we spoke about his love for Burgandian wine and his former career in Bangkok and Singapore. Just like this bottle, beneath the label, lies the most fascinating stories. All you have to do is bring a sense of curiosity to every dinner table and ask.
Just finished up this beauty of a candle for a special request. . . The light purple turned out awesome to match the Lavender scent. . . Want your own custom candle? Either send me a DM or send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org
