This is why I workout! I volunteered for a local church carnival and was assigned the "Hoops" booth. For more then 3 hours I crawled under this bar to retrieve the balls. I must have done over 150 squats. Yes, I broke a little sweat but overall I felt like I was in a commercial for joint supplements! The Halting Snatch Grip Deadlift is a lift for lifters who need to be stronger at muscle transference roughly when the bar is approaching knee height. - The exercise is designed to build strength. The lifter holds this position while the coach counts for 4 seconds aloud then allowing the lifter to pull - extending the hips and legs while shrugging the shoulders. - Note it is important for the coach to count as the lifter will often do this to fast 😉 #keepmoving#haltingdeadlift

When your tween invites you to do stuff that is a little outside the #comfortzone, for a minute it’s tempting to say “no darling you go ahead, I’ll watch”. But sometimes isn’t it great to say YES?! . 😜 So they were so much quicker, #balanced and #agile around this water playground. . ✨ For me there were falls. Lots of them. Then gradually there were definitely moments within the hour when I improved. I climbed higher. Got further on the monkey bars. Managed to run across the rollers! . ✨ Because most new things are awkward before they’re elegant right?! One thing is for sure, it was so much #fun . Pure exhilaration, yet with focus and quite a lot of effort on my part required.
