**long post warning** I grew up in a home where food was a reward & it eventually led to mindless snacking & overindulging (Little Debbie Swiss Rolls will forever hold a special place in my heart!) But being in sports, playing competitive volleyball through college & being a fairly muscular person, kept my weight down. Fast forward 10 yrs, 2 kids & a desk job later. I hit my highest weight at 220 & I knew my eating was getting out of control. Finally, that flip switched for me & I knew I had to stick to something. Enter, the keto diet. I've been eating keto for 2 months now & down 19lbs as of this morning. Posting these pics for the world to see is rough, but seeing my progress & holding myself accountable is more important. I am proud of myself for finally taking the plunge & putting my health and diet at the forefront. I still have 30lbs to go to meet my (1st) goal, but I know I can achieve it with this lifestyle. For anyone out there thinking about starting keto, just DO IT! Dont over think it. Always In Training. Mind and Body. Learning and creating. Changing and being. Over the last few months I have learnt that my body has needed a change. Looking back there was one thing that was stopping me from making the changes needed and it was a seed that someone planted in my brain. I have removed that seed now. My body and mind Needed the changes that I now have in place. It is thriving not just surviving. Everyday is an opportunity to make improvements no matter your situation or age. I believe that there is time for us all to shine just keep yourself In Training.
