My journey to motherhood has been a little crazy... - From the first moment we found out we were expecting, I struggled. From worrying if my body would reject my baby to struggling with old insecurities and eating disorders, pregnancy was not easy. - Then, at the beginning of the month, I felt as though my body betrayed me, going into labor four weeks before my due date. It was the scariest moment in my life when the doctor told me that my water really had broken and I would be delivering my baby that day, one way or another. - My little boy has surprised me so much in the week and a half since he was born. Even though he’s technically a preemie, he has flourished, not even needing a NICU stay. My only constant reminder that he came too early is how small he is... But, we keep on fighting, keep on keeping on. And though the odds are slightly stacked against us, he’s going to keep surprising me by flourishing. - #doublestarphotography#selfportraits#maternityphotos#newmom#atlantaphotographer#augustaphotographer#georgiaphotographer#mompreneur#risingtidesociety#havecamerawilltravel
We are home from Colorado and I am already missing it so much! Can't wait for our next trip! I am swooning over my sessions!! I had so much fun with this sweet family hanging by the lake and roasting hot dogs and making s'mores by the camp fire! I loved capturing them in their element, adventuring as a family!
Wedding season is about to get really busy for me...hello September and October 😏 Whether you’re eloping on a beach, or getting married with 120 guests in the mountains, I always tell my couples, the most important thing at the end of the day is that you get married ❤️
