This fancy shawl dancing has been brought to you by 1000s of squats! I have worked diligently for the last 6 months to conquer glute weakness that enables low back pain. There were times over the last 4 years when I couldn’t bend over, I couldn’t walk, or I could only walk bent over 😂😂 but being able to fancy dance all weekend is proof that retraining your muscles is 💯possible. Because I am a mind-body-emotion person I needed to look at my pain in several ways and have done every healing modality. Massage, physio, chiro, reiki, acupuncture, Dr Ho, DNA reprogramming meditations, robaxacet, voltaten, selenite, visualization, trigger point release, and lots of hilarious hip stretches thanks to hubby Korie 😹😹. Some days your muscles are tight, some days your muscles are weak, some days you need to rest, some days exercise relieve pain, some days nothing happens. I also read a really helpful book about back pain, which says there’s no one answer. So you need to try and stick with everything. Eventually you get results. When I woke up on Monday morning with absolutely no pain, I had a pretty good feeling this course in SI joint disfunction was coming to an end. #strong#38#doyourbest#healyourself
