Dr. Sebi speaks on food and genetics. The African genome is the foundation of the genetic structure of all homo-sapiens. During the evolution of the homo-sapien, the African migrated out of Africa. Changes in environment and eating habits mutated the gene and introduced various illnesses into the genetic structure. The heavy reliance on meat centered diets was the main culprit for this change. Presently, meat-centered diets support the proliferation of disease. Diets centered on the consumption natural alkaline plant foods supported the healthy expression of the African genome, because they had chemical affinity with it. Chemical affinity means the body naturally recognized the food, so it’s digestion didn’t produce harmful byproducts that compromised the body. Sebi developed a method of healing that focused on providing the body with foods and herbs that had chemical affinity with the body. This promoted an environment in the body that was inhospitable to disease. His approach to healing was different than other “alternate medicine” or “holistic” approaches to healing like the Ayurvedic, homeopathy, Ying Yang (Chinese medicine), and the macrobiotic. The African Bio-mineral Balance consisted of herbs and plant foods that naturally alkalized the body, to best support the healthy expression of the African genome in all people. African Bio Balance Perspective The African Bio-mineral Balance first surfaced in 1988 in the Supreme Court of New York. The African bio-mineral balance is a therapeutic approach that addresses disease on two levels. Dr. Sebi refers to his method as either the African Bio-mineral balance or the African Bio Balance. It first cleanses the body of acidity, on the intracellular level, that compromises the mucous membrane of organs and their health. The first #gin to be featured is one of my personal favorites, Monkey 47 Schwarzwald Dry Gin. I mean, look at it. Hailing from Germany, this apothecary-esque bottle does not disappoint. As soon as you hear the squeaking of the cork you’re greeted with an herbaceous pat on the back, not too intense - and beautifully matched with traditional juniper notes. It leaves an incredibly floral flavor lingering and ends with a sweet finish. At $40 and some and change, @monkey47_dry_gin is a 10/10 for me. Prost!
By request from my 10 year old : Iced Golden Lattes 🌾 He was searching through recipes on Pinterest this morning (he's my child 😂) and saw a picture of an iced turmeric latte and asked if he could have if after school. I told him he probably wouldn't like it but I'd make it. His response after 1 sip : "Heaven." ✨ And I kid you not that EVERY child of mine was fighting over this 😂🙌 Surprised the heck out of me that's for sure! I've been avoiding making them because I didn't think I'd like it but it is REALLY good! The spices included work together and the black pepper actually activates the turmeric healing properties! Aaaaand heating this up will also activate the curcumin so I heated it than cooled it so I could pour over ice! 🤙 • Ingredients : 🔅 3.5 cups non dairy milk 🔅 3 Tbsp maple syrup 🔅 1 tsp vanilla extract 🔅 1 1/2 tsp ground turmeric 🔅 1 tsp ground cinnamon 🔅 1/4 tsp ground ginger 🔅 Pinch ground black pepper 🔅 Pinch ground cardamom Directions : 🔹 Combine all ingredients in a small pot and warm on medium low heat. Whisk often to combine spices well. 🔹 Once heated, transfer to a large mason jar and cool either in the fridge or freezer. 🔹 Once cooled pour over ice in 2 cups! ⚠ NOTE -> you can also just add all the ingredients to a shaker bottle or large mason jar and shake vigorously until it's combined well if you don't want to heat it up.
