The shrine is deemed a pure Shinto shrine and Miyajima Island is considered to be sacred. To maintain this purity, no deaths or births are allowed on the island. Those near birth or death are moved to the mainland #neoandfrodo #hiroshima #miyajima

I want to go travelling again! Someone take me to Japan 🛫 . . #oranywherereally #japan #floatingtorii #itsukushima #miyajima #nihon
⛩🚞🗻🇯🇵 Miyajima is the place I most like of all the places I visited in Japan. It is an island in which is located the Itsukushima Shrine. To arrive there, we took a train from Kyoto to Hiroshima and from there we went by boat to Miyajima. The Shrine is built above the water, and the most stunning of all, is its big floating Torii. When there is low tide, you can reach it on foot. To use the transport in Japan, we had the JR Pass. In mi opinion, is essential if you go to Japan as a tourist. You can choose the JR Pass with different durations: 7, 14 and 21 days. We bought it through the website: www.japonismo.com, and we received at home in Spain and once in Japan, we activated it in a transport office at the airport in Tokyo. We took the one of 7 days taking in account that the last days we would be in Tokyo and we would move there with the underground. Coming back from Miyajima, we could make a quick stop in Hiroshima to visit the Peace Memorial, highly

. 🌼Today I have a little question for you: what do you find most difficult when you learn Japanese?🇯🇵 . For me, for a very long time, it was speaking. I'm such a perfectionist, I didn't want to start talking before knowing "enough" words. . 💪Now I learnt that making mistakes is OK, though I still often feel shy about speaking the languages I'm learning.
The perfect spot for some quiet reflection... Carole from Beaver Travel caught this beautiful moment whilst travelling with us in Miyajima. Couldn’t walk to the #torii while I was at #miyajima. But it looked beautiful and peaceful. Was a great sight. This photo was taken from #itsukushima #shrine.

Japan Day 7 - Miyajima Island, regarded as one of the 3 most scenic places in Japan. With beautiful island surrounded by mountains, Deers roaming freely, Itsukushima Shrine and floating Torii Gate it’s obvious why 😍 #itsukushima #miyajima #miyajimaisland #miyajimadeer #floatingtorii #floatingtoriigate #itsukushimashrine
