Look at these happy faces-- my dumplings class at @waitrose Cookery Studio today! . . Oh we had fun-- we started from scratch (made the wrappers with flour and water), tried different fillings and various shapes, and made up our own dipping sauces as well! They all thought it was much easier than they'd expected-- hooray!! . . The results? Ah, you should've seen (and heard!) them when they tucked into those gorgeous little parcels... 😄

These jiao zi and guo tie from 山东东记拉面小笼包 are not bad!! (Although my favourite is still the one from Serangoon Garden Food and Market Centre) The skin is on the thicker side but there was still lots of juicy filling inside! I preferred the jiao zi because it was easier to eat, but the guo tie was not bad as well. They also sell frozen dumplings if you want to dabao some back. . No geotag but this is located at the coffee shop of Block 632 Ang Mo Kio Avenue 4 near Yio Chu Kang mrt!
