Physiotherapy accouncement! 🎉Many of you have seen this beautiful face at Rebirth before, but for those of you who haven’t had the pleasure yet, Grecia is one of our Physiotherapists and we are so happy to have her apart of the team! Below is a little introduction and background about her! She has some openings in her schedule for Saturday that will book up quickly so head to the @mindbody app to register! 💗.. . . “As a physiotherapist, I respect and listen to every person’s story to better understand you and your personal journey. As someone who suffers from pelvic pain, I understand the vulnerability and strength it takes to seek help, as well as the immense benefits of pelvic health physiotherapy. I am excited to be part of the Rebirth Team and provide this wonderful service. I graduated from McMaster University with an Honours Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and a Master of Science in Physiotherapy. I am member of the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario and the Canadian Physiotherapy Association. As a certified Pelvic Health Physiotherapist, I have interests in pelvic pain conditions, pregnancy/post-partum health and urinary incontinence. I have received post-graduate education in Acupuncture and Dry Needling through the Advanced Physical Therapy Education Institute. I am also a strong advocate for interprofessional education, collaboration and research in pelvic health physiotherapy and continue to pursue these interests as a Research Supervisor for the MSc. Physiotherapy Program at McMaster University. Throughout your rehabilitation, you will receive evidence-based care that makes sense for you and your needs, which may include exercise, manual therapy, and/or acupuncture. We will work together to help you get back to living a healthy, active, and well-balanced lifestyle.” - Grecia
