After photographing couples for a year now, I've learnt I would do just about anything to get the shot. I've been waist deep in freezing water, hanged off cliffs, layed in dirt, been in their personal space and photographed them from a kilometre away. . Which couple wants to challenge me next?!
I got the most fun compliment for my work as a photographer last weekend from the groom. He’s from the Caribean and wasn’t there when I met with the bride to talk about the wedding day and everything that is important to know about them. Of course I hoped that he also is happy with the photographer’s choice of his wife to be. They got married in my hometown, had brunch under cherry trees and then boarded a ship in Hamburg for a little harbor cruise. The guests were so much fun, dancing, having good caribean rum and at the end of the day the groom hugged & thanked me for being there and said: Maaan, I didn’t know that my wife hired Batman 😂🖤 Ohh, and please call the Captain for your next Hamburg harbor tour. He is the best!
I’m so exited to finish this bridal session. These are only snippets but it was so beautiful to shoot this especially when the bride made two wedding dresses and a veil 🍾😍 Designer/client @anniewalkerdesigns
You know, Fall has always been my favorite season, but I’m really happy it’s summertime. It’s been a hard year, and I’m grateful for the hours of sunshine we get this time of year. I’m looking forward to so many fun summer festivities - baseball games, hikes, strawberry days, rodeos, pool days, and beautiful shoots & weddings! What are you most excited about this summer? Any fun activities I should know about?
