Another week, another VO2 Max. So happy with the progress that I have been making. Better sleep, running outside at the appropriate time of day, more focused eating. Progress over the last few months has been SO IMPROVED! @garmin and @myfitnesspal have definitely helped. I am close to my goal of 60 by the end of December 2018. I will be taking a TRUE VO2 Max test soon at UVA to see how close these numbers are. @noramchamps are approaching soon!!! Looking forward to being there with @jmd348 @dmrussell88 @bionic_bella and MANY others. More work has to be done. Much more work and dedication. Im humbled to have the people in my life that I do. I know tons of people all over the country and quite a few around the world that are always down to push their limits and to be able to run along side them Is such a blessing. We don't get together as often as we'd like to, but if you see me hanging with this group you know something intense is about to go down. Huge thanks to these people for dragging me out to a 30ish mile trail run with 28,000 feet of elevation change. You always question your decision to join at some point during these things, but afterwards Im always stoked to be a part of their group. Let's find a 50 mile trail with a little less elevation change next time haha. Start a timer and begin the burpees (or any other exercise if you arent doing this specific workout) and say it takes you 30 seconds you will have 30 seconds of rest or 20/40 or 33/27 etc... Once the minute is over begin again. Palmerton lived up to its reputation once again. This year I beasted the double sandbag carry thanks to @yancycampfitness training. Only had to drop the bags twice. I was happy with the way I ran the first 5 miles of that race and I wouldn’t have changed the way I ran that race. I think the cramping was going to happen regardless. Only obstacle I missed was the spear. Sometimes you need a good ass kicking and Palmerton seems to always provide. Big thanks to @crossfitelation @icorefitnesswc @yancycampofficial @icorestgeorge. Without any of these amazing people in my life I wouldn’t have made it anywhere near as far as I have. They push me every day.
