The YMCA of Greater Springfield would like to thank MassMutual Impact for their support of this year’s Summer Learning Loss Program for the youth in the community. The Youth are continuing their education over the summer to be ready for school in the fall. This year they all received swimming lessons too. Life Long Lessons!!! #ymca#thankyou#gratitude#massmutual#impact#youthdevelopment#youth#summer#learning
When the momentum is fiercely moving ahead, why stop it? We are proud to announce our newest agent to the team - Jim Weaver! He is the Life, Disability, Long Term Care and Medicare specialist for Weaver Insurance Agency. Jim will be the Mass Mutual's exclusive agent for the NE Wyoming territory. **ABOUT JIM** It is fun chatting it up with Jim as you will hear about all the cool guy experiences he had while serving in the US Navy over the impressive 20 year career. During that time he worked on all types of weapons systems from the cannons on board ships, to the suppressed firearms the Navy SEAL's used on combat missions. As Anti-terrorism instructor, he trained over 45,000 Sailors in the proper techniques for maintaining shipboard security in a hostile environment, proper use of deadly force, as well as less than lethal hand to hand combat techniques. As Armorer, he was responsible for maintenance, repair, inspection and inventory of over 100,000 fire arms, optics, laser sights, and other ancillary equipment for the 6 US Navy East Coast SEAL Team units and their support unit. As Chief Petty Officer, he was responsible for leading a division of up to 42 Sailors, training and mentoring them, many of whom have achieved the rate of Chief Petty Officer or higher. After his military service, he worked with Schlumberger as a wire-line technician in the Wyoming oil patch for about a year. Later he jumped into the world of Edward Jones as a financial adviser for a short time before he found an opportunity to work for the government again. He spent the last 7 years as a service representative for the Social Security Administration helping the NE Wyoming communities and individuals with verifying citizenship status and processing applications for new, replacement, and corrected Social Security Cards along with various other duties. We are extremely excited to have his talents, his leadership and his assistance helping our customers become more secure in their future
