💟Having a Healthy MIND is Just as Important as shaving a Healthy Body!💟 Someone you may know may need mental help or perhaps it’s yourself. We must stop putting shame to this!!! We must stop making others feel bad about seeing s therapist! This should be like seeing our regular doctors. It should be that easy but unfortunately it is not. That does not mean we should suffer in silence!! . If we need help we should seek it!! Stop thinking what others think such as your friends or family. If you need help don’t be afraid to get it. Please talk to someone or anyone and try to get the help you need. If you have a family member or friend that may need help please get them the help they need as well. . I know for us Black, Latin or Caribbean Women, it was always a Big NO NO to seek a therapist and for Men it’s a HELL NO, they better not! This is absolutely absurd! If we can’t see or having vision problems, we go see the optometrist, if our teeth ache, we go see the dentist. If our feet hurt, we see a podiatrist. So why is it a problem if our mind hurts or is confused to GO see a therapist??? Therapy should Not be a dirty word! Also nowadays so many women are facing women’s health issues such a fertility, endo, fibroids, and other stressful and debilitating women’s issues but speaking with a therapist could help us women who are going through these issues in so many ways. I know some women are ashamed and prefer to keep it to themselves but it is too much of a burden to keep inside. Please seek the help! I know I have and am. . It’s not easy and maybe a challenge but don’t give up on the help. If you find a therapist or a therapy group that is not working for you try another one and if that one isn’t right try another one until you find the right therapist for what you are looking for! .
I am passionate about this. I also put it on my story! Don't disrespect my puff because you didn't think about the physics. What goes up must come down does not apply to curly melanated hair! 💁🏾♀️ But in all seriousness. There will be a significant increase in holes in hats in this house and I won't be able to blame the cats lol
