I. Fail. Every. Day.  Today is no different. Today I woke up late, because I went to bed late because I was trying to get my homework done. Emma missed breakfast at school so we had to eat breakfast at home, which means on top of being late I was REALLY late. I haven't had time to meal prep because I am behind on my school work, and yesterday I picked up Del Taco for dinner because it was fast and easy. The appointment I had was cancelled because the ONE day we have to be somewhere my husband had to work late. I'm not telling you all this so get sympathy. I want you to know that every day life is challenging for me. Like EVERYDAY 😶 Choosing to go back to school at 38 years old, while having a toddler, a teenager, a husband, running my own biz, and holding down a 9-5 job is CRAZY! 😝 There are days I want to give up. There are days I don't know what I am doing. There are days of feeling overwhelmed and feeling like I'm a basketball being bounced all over the place. Then there are days like Tuesday, when I got this little beauty in the mail. HONOR Society y'all! Me! This reminds me of what I am working for! This is a reminder that I am a WARRIOR! I am STRONG. I am SMART. I can do ANYTHING I put my mind to! I am doing this for my children, my husband, my sister's, my parents, my grandparents. I am doing this for all the WOMEN who put their DREAMS aside to raise their families. Because I want them to know, it's never to late to GO AFTER YOUR DREAMS! I AM successful. I am ENOUGH and I will Never.Give.Up.

No matter what kind of sadness you’re facing, this is a good reminder that sadness is a universal human emotion, and while it may suck to feel it, it’s normal and healthy to feel it. Unfortunately in our culture, there is an idea that sadness = weakness. But I find those who are grieving and allowing themselves to experience their sadness are strong because they are choosing to engage what is going with them in the present moment, even though it’s so incredibly hard. Hannah struggles with periods of serious reoccurring depression, related to childhood abuse and neglect.  During those times she struggles with feeling suicidal.  She told her therapist, "I never felt wanted." As a result, she has never been able to fully accept herself.  Through therapy, Hannah learned to comfort the child within, who longed for acceptance and love.
