Once upon a time in « le bassin des amoureux (Dolé) 💑 : : SPOT ALERT 🚨 you have 2 « bassin des amoureux, ‘ one is hide ‘ and located 02m after the first one ... you will need to take some stairs ... so if the first one is full don’t hesitate to take a look on the hiding one 😉 ❗️we spend so much good time here and we was so lucky because no one was there (we were there at 05:30 PM🕠) ‼️❗️ @guadeloupeislands @lesilesdelaguadeloupe ———————————————————————- @borntotraveltogether Photography: @andreaszopf @marciestudios ———————————————————————— N E X T T R A V E L China : 08 - 14 October @visitchina Bali: 16 - 29 October @explorebali Philippines : November @_visitphilippines South Africa : December -February @meetsouthafrica ———————————————————————— #guadeloupeislands #visitguadeloupe #guadeloupe #basseterre #ilesguadeloupe #igersguadeloupe #antilles #beautifuldestinations #natgeotravel #caribbean #caribbeanlife #borntottraveltogether #travelcouple #travelcouple #travelcommunity #traveltogether #coupletravel #travelingcouple #coupleswhotravel #travelblogger #travelworld #stayandwander #ourplanetdaily #dji #djimavicair #iamtraveler #travacs #lonelyplanet #mylpguide #wildernessculture
Day 2 - Dent to Honister - ▫️ Mess up or divine intervention? When I set off this morning I got into my head I was on day 2 & therefore had to get to Rosthwaite. It may well have been my second day but as I’d only done half a day’s walking the day before I was now inadvertently trying to do 1.5 days worth of walking in 1. I couldn’t understand why i was so tired, why was i struggling when i had so much further to go? I didn’t figure it out until I was nearly at the Blacksail hut at 4pm in the afternoon. ▫️ When I reached Blacksail, fatigued & totally drenched, there was nowhere to wild camp as the valley was just too waterlogged, & the hut was too expensive so I had no option but to push on despite a daunting steep climb up the Loft Beck waterfall (pictured) ▫️ I made a mad dash from the hut wading across 2 rather fast flowing rivers to catch up with some people i’d met, who stopped to take a break in the hut. Together we managed to keep plodding along & our spirits high. ▫️ The rain didn’t let up all day & by the time I reached Honister i could not face the thought of finding somewhere to wild camp so stomached the cost & stayed at YHA Honister. Thank god I did as not only did i get all my gear dry but during the night was so violently ill i could barely stand. I took a zero day the following day to recover. Despite messing up & walking nearly 22 miles that day i was so grateful as getting that sick whilst wild camping would have been horrific 🏔🚶🏻‍♀️🏔 📷1&2 ©️GemmaRourke2018 📷3 @ordnancesurvey

Day 2 - Dent to Honister - As the clouds descend, Buttermere disappears into the mist.
Day 3 - Honister to Grasmere - Modest in distance yet plentiful in ascents. Starting out on an empty stomach after throwing up for the past 2 days but thankful to still be on trail. Picture taking and videoing was a little tricky today thanks to the rain but I my best! 🏔🚶🏻‍♀️🏔 ©️GemmaRourke2018
Day 3 - Honister to Grasmere - Video diary part 1/3. From valley to valley with a waterfall or two in between 🏔🚶🏻‍♀️🏔 ©️GemmaRourke2018
Day 3 - Honister to Grasmere - First views of what’s in store on the pass to Lining crag. I tell you there was a lot of up!!!! 🏠🎈🎈🎈 ©️GemmaRourke2018 🏔🚶🏻‍♀️🏔
Day 3 - Honister to Grasmere - Video log part 2/3 - Up, up and more up!!! Still recovering from an horrendous 24 hour gastric bug, the hike up Lining Crag was erm challenging! Still super fun though! @ordnancesurvey 🏔🚶🏻‍♀️🏔 ©️GemmaRourke2018

Day 33 - Finisterre - Progression of a sun set (3/7) To capture the majesty and incredibly beautiful colour changes of my final sunset on camino I took a series of photographs at times intervals over approximately a 30minute period. No filters have been applied to this next series of photographs just Mother Nature doing her thing! 🏔🚶🏻‍♀️🏔 ©GemmaRourke2017
Renzee yung sinampay!! Lol This city stole my heart the second I stepped onto its desert land. Imagine living in this giant sandcastle? 💫 #lakbaylorenza
Day One - The Pilgrim's Bridge, St Jean - "When you begin your Camino and take your first step across that bridge, you leave the person you once were behind on the bank and emerge from it forever changed. You just don't know it yet!" GR 🏔🚶🏻‍♀️🏔 ©GemmaRourke2017
Day Three - Zubiri to Cizar - The streets of Pamplona - "I've got a crush on the world!" 🏔🚶🏻‍♀️🏔 ©GemmaRourke2017
Kirkjufell, or 'Church Mountain', is a distinctly shaped peak found on the north shore of Iceland’s Snæfellsnes Peninsula, only a short distance away from the town of Grundarfjörður. It is often called ‘the most photographed mountain in Iceland’, due to its dramatic formation and perfect coastal location. Kirkjufell takes its name from its resemblance to a church steeple, sharpened at the top with long curved sides. From other angles, the mountain has been compared to a witch’s hat or even a freshly scooped ice cream. Within walking distance from Kirkjufell is the serene and perfectly located waterfall Kirkjufellsfoss, or 'Church Mountain Falls', an excellent subject for photographers who can easily frame the mountain in the background. 🌍🇮🇸
