Oats for lunch? Oatcourse! After my root canal I’m taking it pretty easy - banana protein shake for breakfast, oatmeal for lunch (or egg salad). I’m not complaining though - I wonder how many bowls I’ve eaten in my life? A fair few I bet. Have you ever sprinkled coconut sugar on top of your bowl? It add a surprising charm, almost vanilla-y. How to have a perfect morning - Some yum oatmeal.✅ Chit chatting with some plants.✅ Incense killin it. ✅ For the oatmeal I just use a little honey and cinnamon, throw some frozen fruit on there and BAM! That’s breakfast. I try really hard to listen to what my body has to say. Most mornings I don’t eat right away. Cause that’s what she wants. It’s so important to listen to what your body has to say about things, and to stay in tune with her.
Today I met with my new nutritionist at school and my therapist. Both appointments actually went pretty well. I really liked the nutritionist, she listened to everything I said and didn’t try an invalidate the pain that comes with eating certain foods. I also really liked that she took the time to talk about the science behind different components of food, like carbs are a direct source of energy for the brain and lipids help you break down essential vitamins. She said she thought some of these new thoughts might help quiet Ana :) so maybe it will help you guys too. She also said that the brain doesn’t store glucose, which I found quiet interesting and is why it is essential to eat every couple of hours. My therapy appointment went pretty well too. She gives me a chance to talk about what’s on my mind and then helps me figure it out I guess. Idk but it’s very different from my other therapist and I’m hopeful again. In general I’m beginning to get a little more hopeful. I finished first round of exams and my grades weren’t as good as I had hoped, but I tried and I’m learning to be okay with that. I don’t really know where this post is going, I was gonna say something completely different because this is my breakfast from the other day but I ran out of time with exams.
