Fail to plan and plan to fail. Evening training planning session to make sure I’m on target with my training as my first marathon of the season is less than a month away. Everyone trains a little different, and you have to find what works for you... but I’ve found that without a written plan it’s easy to set out to achieve something with good intentions but never to accomplish the goal. A training plan that you can take and make it work within your life is one that will serve you well. Without a plan or a coach it’s easy to get behind or put off training and then try to make up for lost time, packing in a bunch of miles, while increasing mileage too quickly can be a recipe for injury. LA has been an adventure every day! And my favorite part of it all is meeting so many amazing people, especially when they’re in my fitness 🌎 It’s great when you get to meet people who do what you do, have similar values, find similar things like working out to actually be fun lol, and you get to learn and create new experiences. It’s been a pleasure getting to know @bretthoebel and then to have the opportunity to work with his and @libertechan ‘s brand @sweatwithsoul ... I’m excited to make that drive back to San Diego tomorrow for another TV Segment on @fox5sandiego with @audencialk ! Life is great when you open yourself to new adventures and getting to know new people! Now get out there and be social! 😆 BTW the Sweat with Soul Apparel has amazing fabric! It’s like heaven on your skin! 🤤 lol
Optimism is such a beautiful thing, yet a hard thing to maintain at times when it feels like life is getting in the way. When we don’t get that job promotion that we think we are perfect for, that could’ve “changed everything for us,” we get sad or upset. Rather we should think that what is meant for us will not pass us. We shouldn’t get everything we want because it’s not always the right thing for us, or not even meant for us. We need to take on that optimistic mindset that certain things happen or don’t happen in our lives because we are meant fo something else bigger and greater than we can imagine! You never know what the next hour or month is going to bring! Get excited about the possibilities in life!
