Nutrition talk! (swipe for meal ideas 🙌) It’s been about 5 weeks since my last competition and I’m very happy with how my body has responded to the increase in food! Thankfully, calories are already up by over 1000 per day at 4130 (625C, 250P, 70F) 🙏🏻 I’ve really enjoyed mixing up my food choices as I was basically eating the same meals every day for 22 weeks. Excellent post by @sarah.j.murphy showing my top 3 animal protein sources. - The info here is for 100 grams. Chicken is the leanest while both salmon and steak are higher in fat. A mistake that people often make when they first start tracking macros is they view a specific food as a protein source only and forget that there are other macros that come along with it. These are all great protein sources but salmon is also a fat source as well. Heute gibt es ein kleines #feedback zu dem Proteinriegel Mars xtra choc 🍫 ❇✴❇✴❇✴❇✴❇✴❇✴❇✴❇✴❇✴❇✴❇✴ Geschmacklich finde ich ihn sehr schokoladig, jedoch nicht zu süß. Der Riegel ist mit einer zusätzlichen Schicht an schokoladigem Karamell ergänzt. Die Konsistenz ist nicht zu zäh, sondern eher weich. Den Riegel kann man gut essen, wenn man die Lust auf sowas süßes verspürt. FITNESS FRIDAY🏋🏻‍♀️ . These are a few of my favorite exercises for training Back & Biceps with free weights💪🏻I looove training back&bis...it’s actually become my favorite training day🙌🏻 There’s sooo many different exercises and ways you can target these muscles, not only in isolation, but with compound exercises as well👍🏻 . . The exercises: 1. Alternating standing rows (32 reps) 2. Hammer curls (16 reps) 3. Bent over reverse fly (16 reps) 4. Plank stance rows (12 each side) . . TIPS: For hammer curls, make sure you’re curling your arms at a 45 degree angle. Keep a straight spine throughout bent over reverse flies, and try not to jerk the weights up...if you feel like you need to do this in order to complete the reps, decrease your weight a bit (same goes for alternating standing rows). And for plank stance rows, widen your stance enough so that your weight doesn’t favor the opposing side👌🏻 . . I’m using 20lb dumbbells for standing rows and plank stance rows, and 10lbs for hammer curls and bent over rows💥 . . If you have questions just lmk☺️ Happy Fitness Friday everyone!🤗💪🏻
