Something about this quote hit me really hard. How much of our life are we striving for something yet our view of self holds us back? Does what you want match what you feel you deserve? I would challenge that as you dive deeper into that that it probably doesn’t. At least it doesn’t for me ❤️#selfcare #quitholdingyourselfback#getoutofyourownway💯
One of my biggest body insecurities has been my thighs. They've always been big and fat and jiggly and bumpy. Like I said in a post earlier, I haven't worn shorts in public in like 8 years - always wanted to keep them covered, keep them hidden so no one could see how huge and fat and gross they really are and that I really am. So much for this journey is mental, not only doing the things to make your body healthy, but actually having a healthy relationship with your body, loving your body for exactly what it is at every point in the process. These thighs have carried me everywhere for the past 33 years. They're strong and big and wonderful. And they are slowly but surely becoming one of favorite parts. #drumstickthighs 🍗🍗 #bodylove#selflove#thickthighs#thickthighssavelives#loveyourself#quitholdingyourselfback#quithatingyourself#latenightthoughts
#minsgame, Rnd 1, Day 1 I am trying to downsize. This takes many shapes and forms. Most obvious, is removing the physical clutter that crowds my life. This challenge - to rid myself of at least one item for every day in the game - should be interesting. Here we go, Day 1! What: Old TV Remote When: Just now Where: Bedstand, bottom drawer Why: Old technology. Besides, don't even have the TV set any longer. There. Done. Gone. Remember... Live life. Live light. Live simply.
