STEP 5: Eye cream 🌿 Don’t forget your eye cream! The skin around our eyes is thin and delicate, any little extra love will go a long way! Eye creams can help with a variety of issues such as discoloration, puffiness or even fine lines (sound familiar? 😉)! (P.S. try storing your eye cream in the fridge for some extra relief) ✨
SCAR TREATMENT Pro Tip | To support collagen production at home in between acne scarring treatments, a high intensity vitamin A serum, like Skinstitut Retinol Serum, will be highly advantageous. Using Encapsulated Retinol (a multi-functional delivery system) this hard working serum has the ability to reverse, prevent and repair skin damage. Ongoing use facilitates collagen and elastin production deep with the skin to smooth out pitted acne scarring while also reducing the appearance of skin discolouration from previous acne breakouts within more superficial layers of the skin. #skintip#skinstitut#skinisin#loveyourskin#scarring#skingame#glowingskin#retinol#vita#vitamina#results#rejuvskinclinic
An unstoppable duo. PRO Retinol Crème, a revolutionary resurfacing crème for smoother, brighter and younger looking skin, coupled with PRO C4 Retinol Serum with PSC, refines and strengthens skin with this powerful Vitamin C and Retinol serum.
We know that #retinol is a skincare must—it helps with wrinkles, fine lines and uneven skin tone—and I LOVE the @elizabetharden Retinol Ceramide Capsules, which now come in pretty rose gold! 😍 They’re individually sealed to keep the active ingredients fresh, so just massage the contents of one pod into your skin at night and follow with a moisturizer. Don’t forget your SPF (at least 50, please!) the next morning! #tiptuesday#drdendy
💫I get asked about my skincare A LOT, so here is my routine at night🌌(arguably, the most important): ⚡️I TRIPLE cleanse my skin on days that I wear makeup, and DOUBLE cleanse on days I don’t : 1️⃣ I roughly wipe makeup off with cotton pads soaked in micellar water (@biodermausa H2O or @aveneusa or any others really) 2️⃣ I cleanse with a cleansing oil that emulsifies and melts leftover makeup, sebum, dirt & debris when water is added (my favorite is @clarinsofficial Pure Melt with Marula Oil) 3️⃣I cleanse again with a cleansing mousse or smth gentle in the shower (with a @clarisonic brush a few times a week). ⚡️When your skins is well cleansed and exfoliated, it is ready to soak in all the good stuff you apply afterwards🔅 As previously posted, I LOVE @shanidarden’s Retinol 🔅@lamer Moisturizer glides on my skin leaving it soft & supple, feels luxurious . I tried the heavier and the original gel versions years ago, and was not impressed, so was very pleasantly surprised with this updated Gel Cream!🔅 @tartecosmetics Maracuja Oil is hands down 1 of the best oils I have tried. It is not too heavy and truly moisturizes your skin, instead of just sitting on top or not making any difference. P.S. I did not include my cleansing products in this pic because quite, frankly, they look half squeezed/gross 😬 Daytime routine to follow soon 🌹
MY NIGHT TIME ROUTINE PART 2: EYE CREAMS/PRODUCTS 👁 I tend to feel pretty self conscious about my dark circles/eye bags, so I’ve tried a few products to help with them. @deciem The Ordinary Caffeine Solution 5%+EGCG. This stuff is amazing for the puffiness I often suffer from. It’s a thin formula, a little sticky but nothing too extreme. Skincare Cosmetics Retinol Eye gel. I found this at Winners, I’d been wanting to try a retinol eye product after a YouTuber raved about the results. I haven’t noticed anything huge yet but I’ve only been using it for a few weeks. @cliniquecanada Pep Start eye cream. I got this in a Clinique set from Sephora, and it’s perfect for travel. I use it morning and night and have noticed it helps with brightening up my eye area. @yesto Grapefruit Dark Circle Correcting eye cream. This one is my go-to for moisture. My under eye area can get pretty dry, and this really helps.
#repost @thefacenfigureplace with @get_repost ・・・ We’ve all heard about #retinol but safe to say #people don’t know it can do #miracles for your #skin Retinol is often used as the technical name for Vitamin A. The other form is pro-vitamin A, known as carotenoids. Vitamin A in general is a fat-soluble compound with incredibly #important functions including stimulation of the cells division, healing of wounds and collagen induction. So why is retinol in particular important? When it comes to the #health of your skin, retinol is often considered nothing less than a #magic ingredient for #skincare and skin health. Extensive research has shown the potential of retinol to be a skin-transforming compound, particularly when it comes to anti-ageing. Retinol can increase the firmness and elasticity of your skin, reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, and smooth out bumpy skin and uneven skin tone. How? Retinol pushes skin cells near the surface to die quickly, which prompts the growth of new cells underneath, effectively re-vitalizing your skin. It also slows the breakdown of collagen, which is the substance that helps skin retain its firmness, and thickens deep layers of the skin where wrinkles start to form. It also helps to reduce pigmentation and blemishes. Retinol is a key compound for post-peeling treatments to control the renewal of the skin. #retinol#vitamina#collagen#blemishes#peeling#beauty#aesthetics#antiageing#turnbacktheclock#medik8#advanced#silsden
