Just over a year ago, i have embarked on my cycling journey with the mail goal of gaining better health and fitness, I have gained so much more on top of that.. Friendship was built and social circle expanded as I meet new people through group rides. It taught me to be more adventurous and enjoy the little things in life as I take in and absorbing my surroundings along the ride... Perhaps, the most important thing is the improved mental health benefits I unexpectedly gained from cycling. Riding alone is a great way to clear my head without any distractions, it allows me the space and time to think and tackle the tasks and problems on hand. It becomes a habit and a lifestyle now that I ride alone at least once a week to reflect and check in with myself.
