To be honest I haven’t really been feeling myself lately. Prepping for competitions requires such an intense focus on one’s outward appearance, & that can really take a toll on the mind & spirit. Doing my best to stay out of my head, remain objective, & practice what I preach.... which is SELF-LOVE🖤 ❤️I am grateful for my body, it heals my injuries, & carries me through each day & every intense workout. 🧡I am grateful for my drive, which pulls me through the toughest of times. 💛I am grateful for my shortcomings, which give me opportunities for improvement & growth. 💚I am grateful for my empathy, which has enabled me to find purpose through serving others. 💙 I am grateful for my nose 😂 I grew up hatingggg it, but hey it’s a combo of my EuroJew + Filipino genetics & part of what makes me unique ☺️ 💜Don’t forget to take some time to practice self-love today! 🙏🏽🤗🖤

Using myself for my own #motivationmonday today. I ran my first #5k back in the fall. I did zero training (because I was a lazy selfish POS at the time) and I hated every minute. I saw them taking photos, that's why my head is down. I honestly had no idea these existed online and just found them today. Because I am a glutton for punishment I just signed up again for this years race. 😂 I WILL have a better time and I WILL finish with my head held high this time. November 2nd will be here before I know it, any #c25k apps anyone can recommend?
