Is there a way to make me look less PALE than I actually am?😳🙈 . Was hoping to get a spray tan today but it didn’t happen. I did get in a Friday night lift session though! . Deadlifted at 120 🙌🏻 and went up on 4 others too! Mostly upper body tonight which I need... . This was the last time I had to drive to a different gym during my home gym’s remodel. I got kind of used to it ☺️ and am proud of myself for making the effort to get there 8 times! . I told one of the mangers as I left that I was super impressed with the staff and how great an experience they made it. It’s not easy switching gears but you gotta do what you gotta do! 180 lb 6 x 4. In the past 2 months I had to take 6 weeks off due to two surgeries and then this week I learned that an immediate family member has breast cancer. Throw in being laid off, moving, and starting a new job...needless to say it's been an intense 8 weeks.  Lifting has been hard in many ways lately especially when I'm not putting up the numbers I did before taking 6 weeks off. Heyooooo 👋🏼 I want to share a few pointers on PROPER FORM🤗 1️⃣SQUATS •these utilize almost every single muscle group in the body when done correctly •keep your elbows inside hands for back tightness (when bar is on your back) •tighten your core, push through your heels & take yo’ timeeeeee 2️⃣HINGE •the hip hinge is used in exercises such as kb swings, squats, deadlifts, barbell rows, etc. •getting this movement right is important because you can easily damage your back otherwise •your shins should be perpendicular to the ground, bend by swinging at the hips (leaning over) & keep your spine neutral  3️⃣LUNGE •performing these incorrectly will put unwanted strain on your joints •keep your upper body straight, engage your core and keep you chin up (everyone tends to look down) •lower your hips until your knees are at 90 degrees, keep your front knee above your ankle (don’t pass the toes), keep weight in your heels and don’t you dare let that back knee touch the ground 🤣 SWIPE FO PICSSS  Crops @live_fit_apparel  Coach @leticiamartinezzz
