💚💚Shrek’s Adventure 💚💚 We had such a memorable day at @shreksadventure #london My sis collected the tokens from The Sun newspaper and couldn’t go so sent them my way. We have already had a family trip to Chessington World of Adventures last month for only £29! The tokens or codes once collected enable you to claim two free adult tickets to certain attractions. Then as George is aged 3, he requires a ticket which we order online because this is cheaper than paying on the day usually. Shrek’s Adventure requires you to book a slot time too. On arrival everyone we encountered was friendly and the queueing took maybe half an hour but there were things to look at to prevent boredom. George was a little anxious as he didn’t know what to expect but once he was in there he enjoyed it. He was quite clingy and edgy but the whole concept is that we have killed one of Rumplestiltskins witches and they are after us. We need to find Shrek so he can save us. I think the experience was so immersive that George struggled to realise it wasn’t real so I had to reassure him. It’s maybe aimed at children a little older although the website potentially highlights this. He loved it tho. Afterwards he said there were a few grownup hits he didn’t like. I was in my element and loved it. It involves group participation as you move took to group in a group of around 30. Overall the experience was 1.5-2 hours long. I didn’t actually check the time as we had to turn our phones off. It was really refreshing to be involved in something with 30 other people and not one person snapping away on their phone or camera. Defo check it out! #notanad#summeroffun#familydaysout#daysoutonabudget#shreksadventurelondon#shreksadventure#mycolourfullife#londonfun#kcacols#daysoutinlondon#southbanklondon#rememberingthesedays#windowsofinstagram#pblogger#gorgeousgeorgesmama
We did a fair share of “touristy” things on our trip to London, including 3/5 of the Merlin attractions. Shrek’s Adventure (@shreksadventure) was better than we had expected, and we (my husband and I) both agreed we’d recommend it! Our daughter (2.5) was a little frightened at times, but it’s a really playful series of skits.
