Hydration hydration hydration... 💦💦💦 You’ve probably heard the term “hyaluronic acid” floating around skincare these days. Our skin naturally produce lots of it when we’re young, especially babies. Unfortunately hyaluronic acid levels deplete as we grow older. Our skin doesn’t maintain moisture as well as it used to. It starts to sag and fine lines and wrinkles become more apparent. Which is why it’s important to include this skin booster ingredient in our skin care. It packs a ton of benefits such as superpower hydrating and anti-aging abilities, attracts up to 1000 times its molecular weight in water, making it amazing at keeping skin hydrated. This bring me to my current love affair with NIOD Multi-Molecular Hyaluronic Complex. It’s light, fluid and easily absorb serum, provides excellent hydration and improves skin barrier. (Psst.. for those of you who just had facial treatment/procedure, slathered this all over the face for a few days to speed up the recovery process, it’ll do wonders 🧖‍♀️) Sometimes my skin acted out after testing certain products. I would top-up extra dosage of this beauty as my way of saying sorry to my skin hahaha.. 😝 Highly recommended 💕Go ahead give this product a try and thank me later 😘😘😘 ❤️Flo . . . . #unfilteredsg #skinexpert #skincareproductreview #hyaluronicacid #hyaluron #niod #hydrationserum #hydrateyourskin #hydrationtreatment #multimolecularhyaluroniccomplex #skincare #loveyourskin #skincare #dailyskincare #beautysg #skingoals #beauty #beautyblogger #skincareroutineforlife

What is a chemical peel? A chemical peel is a technique used to improve the appearance of the skin on the face, neck or hands. A chemical solution is applied to the skin that causes it to exfoliate and eventually peel off. The new, regenerated skin is usually smoother and less wrinkled than the old skin. The new skin is also temporarily more sensitive to the sun. There are THREE basic types of chemical peels: Superficial or lunchtime peel: Alpha-hydroxy acid or another mild acid is used to penetrate only the outer layer of skin to gently exfoliate it. The treatment is used to improve the appearance of mild skin discoloration and rough skin as well as to refresh the face, neck, chest or hands. Medium peel: Glycolic or trichloroacetic acid is applied to penetrate the out and middle layers of skin to remove damaged skin cells. The treatment is used to improve age spots, fine lines and wrinkles, freckles and moderate skin discoloration. It also can be used to smooth rough skin and treat some precancerous skin growths, i.e. actinic keratosis. Deep peel: Tricholoracetic acid or phenol is applied to deeply penetrate the middle layer of skin to remove damaged skin cells. The treatment removes moderate lines, age spots, freckles and shallow scars. Patients will see a dramatic improvement in skin appearance. The procedure is used on the face and only can be performed once. USES FOR CHEMICAL PEELS Chemical peels are used to treat a number of conditions including: Acne scars  Aging skin  Crow's feet  Hyperpigmentation  Melasma Scars  Sun damaged skin  Sagging skin  Wrinkles AfterCare: Moisturise and wear Sunblock #theskindoc #skincare #skinadvice #skin #skinexpert #glowingskin #chemicalpeels #loveyourself #loveyourskin #transformyourskin #doctors #aestheticdermatologist #ahapeel #superficialpeel #lunchtimepeel
Swipe ⬅️ for VIDEO | DIY TIPS: How to Treat Acne Scars for good!! • FACIAL SCRUB • Using a facial scrub can make your skin feel beautiful, youthful, soft, and like it’s glowing. • Unlike a regular soap or cleanser, a facial scrub uses small particles, or chemicals to get rid of old skin cells and make way for new ones in a process known as exfoliation. • ENZYME EXFOLIATION • OK, so most people are familiar with exfoliation. • When you use something to manually exfoliate your skin, you’re using it to actually mechanically rub away the top most layer of skin, and perhaps unclog some pores. • So, if used a washcloth to exfoliate your skin, or maybe rubbing some wet, grainy sugar around your face, that would be two examples of mechanical exfoliation. • When you have chemical exfoliation, what I’m calling “enzyme exfoliation” • Enzymes are proteins that digests other proteins, such as the dead skin cells and old scar tissues trapped in the pores. • So instead of mechanical action, enzymes exfoliate through a chemical reaction. • And I don’t mean that like you’re putting nasty chemicals on your face. In this case, we are talking about gentle, natural enzymes, which are things that prompt that chemical reaction to take place. • I highly recommend using enzyme exfoliation in order to treat skin care problems such as acne and acne scars. • What the enzymes will do it stimulate new cell turnover, while digesting and removing the old impacted proteins in the pores-essentially allowing your skin to rejuvenate itself again! • Did you know that you could use plain yogurt, pumpkin, or pineapples as exfoliation mask? • FACIAL MASK • The right face mask can help hydrate skin, removed excess oil‘s and help improve the appearance of your pores. • They are also an excellent way to help pull out impurities. • You can use a facemask once a week, or you can use it more than that depending on your skin and your skin care concerns.
